Big I Illinois CONVO is an annual event hosted by the Association to bring members from throughout the state together for networking, education and product updates. The conference also plays host to many events including the Annual Business Meeting, CE Classes, theme reception and many other opportunities. As the largest education provider in the state, Big I Illinois allows agents the opportunities to earn all their CE hours for one year during the three-day event. The CONVO Tradeshow, the industry’s largest one in the state, brings vendors from across the nation to Illinois. Additionally, the tradeshow attracts over 350 attendees. CONVO 2025 is October 7-9. The tradeshow will be held on Wednesday, October 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

CONVO events will be split between the Marriott Pere Marquette and the Peoria Civic Center.

The Tradeshow will be held at the Peoria Civic Center, 201 SW Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL 61602.

The tradeshow hours are as follows:

Wednesday

Setup: 7:00 a.m.

Doors Open: 11:00 a.m. Prize Drawings: 1:45 p.m.

Doors Close: 2:00 p.m. (teardown begins at this time)

The overall attendance for the CONVO averages between 300 - 350 people each year which consists of decision makers, agency owners, agency personnel and company representatives.

The cost to exhibit is based on your membership status with Big I Illinois. Members receive a price of $1,200. The cost for Non-Members is $2,500.

Booth space includes:

  • Professional 10' deep x 10' wide exhibit space

  • 6’ draped table

  • Two folding chairs

  • Trash can

  • A one-line standard booth ID sign

  • Attendance for two workers for the entire convention. (Additional attendees are $100.00.)

  • Listing of your company in the official CONVO Program

We don't really call it a theme, but this year we are focusing on navigating the storms! Whether the storm is market access, hiring, and technology, or actual storms and climate-related incidents, CONVO 2025 is about helping you thrive during the difficult times.

Consider coming up with your own theme or decorating your booth your own way!

Make your booth stand out - do something special!

Here are some ideas to build success at the event:

  • Bring more than one person! This allows you to not get caught up in a conversation and miss the chance to network with someone as they come by your booth.

  • Have some giveaways for anyone to pick up as they walk by. We can recommend vendors who can print items with your logo if you need suggestions.

  • Give away a big ticket item with a drawing, raffle, or even a fun game within your booth (cornhole, Velcro darts, putt-putt, trivia, etc.). These create opportunities for interaction, and everyone wants to win a big ticket item. Big ticket items could include a gift card, tv, speaker, cooler, basket of goodies (snacks, wine/bourbon, etc.).
