About Us
Big I Illinois has been providing members with a sustainable competitive advantage since 1899.
For 125 years, Big I Illinois has been supporting independent insurance agents and consumers throughout the state. The membership consists of agencies that offer property, casualty, life, health and benefits insurance. As independent agents, association members represent more than one company and can offer customers a choice of policies to fit their needs.
Big I Illinois represents before the Illinois General Assembly and state agencies the common interests of its members and leading industry associations, including the National Association of Benefits Producers (NABIP) of Illinois, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Illinois (NAIFA-IL), and the Illinois Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (IAMIC).
Big I Illinois empowers members by providing education, advocacy and business tools to solve common challenges for agencies of all sizes and in all stages of growth.
