Big I Illinois offers scholarships to those considering a career in insurance and are awarded to individuals new to the insurance industry, no matter the age.

​The Choose Insurance Scholarship provides a comprehensive package of professional development and licensing support, including:

  • ​Illinois Insurance Pre-Licensing Program Class (Property & Casualty OR Life & Health)

    • This course prepares the new producer/CSR to take the Illinois State Exam for a Property & Casualty License or Life & Health License. Workbook, online quizzes and flashcards, and access to instructors post-class is included. View upcoming sessions here.

  • Reimbursement for the state licensing exam and licensing fees

    • The fee to take the Property & Casualty OR Life & Health state licensing exams, application and exam fees will be reimbursed upon receipt of proof of passing the exam and receipt of purchase.

  • New Hire Training

    • New Level Partners - Commercial Lines and Personal Lines Coverage Basics Combination Bundle

  • Big I Illinois Spring Conference registration

    • Conference held in the spring each year.

*Agencies with up to 10 employees are allowed one scholarship annually. Agencies with 10+ employees are allowed two scholarships annually (one scholarship per person).
